Vision for the Partnership for Alcohol Safety

The Partnership for Alcohol Safety aims to reduce harm associated with drinking and to build a more vibrant, secure community.

These goals require cooperation from the full Iowa City community, including the City of Iowa City, The University of Iowa, young people and their parents, business and faith leaders, law enforcement officials and others. Each group contributes perspectives, insights, and ideas that yield alternatives to unsafe drinking and address effects of alcohol misuse.

Alcohol safety is about encouraging smart choices, being good neighbors in a diverse community, and acknowledging that solutions demand time and commitment.
